Join the Odyssey Open Challenge and win!2010-06-06 23:00:00

Rules and Regulations:

• The Odyssey Open Challenge is open from 7 June till 2 August 2010.
• Participant must recruit four other friends who are currently non-Odysseans to sign up for a Singapore 2010 Odyssey account.
• Participant and the four friends then participate in the Challenge Sport of the Week and submit their best scores before 11 p.m. on Sunday. Note that the Challenge Sport of the Week changes every week.
• Participating teams are to submit in the Singapore 2010 Odyssey Forum, 1-5 in-world screenshots that show the best score of each team member. Please submit all screenshots within the same forum post in order to faciliate judging. Feel free to check with a moderator if you are unsure how to edit an earlier post.
• Screen shots posted that were found to be edited will be disqualified.
• Prizes will be awarded for the best combined scores of the top three teams; every team member will win a pair of movie tickets or US$20 Amazon voucher. Winners will be given a choice of either the movie tickets or the Amazon vouchers. Please note that movie tickets are valid for use in Singapore only. In the event of a tie, the team that submit its scores earlier will win.
• THe best combined score is defined as follows:
  
  • Archery - the highest of the sum of all five players' score.
  • Basketball - the highest of the sum of all five players' score.
  • Shooting - the highest of the sum of all five players' score.
  • Triple Jump - the highest of the sum of all five players' score.
  • Swimming - the lowest of the sum of all five players' timing.
  • Hurdle Race - the lowest of the sum of all five players' timing.
• The top three teams in the Challenge Sport of the Week will be announced on each following Wednesday on the Singapore 2010 Odyssey Website, Facebook and also by email.
• Every participant will be awarded 5000 Sports Credits.
• Each team may only participate in one Challenge Sport of the Week. To participate in subsequent weeks’ challenges, please recruit four other new friends to form a new team.

How to form a team:

1) If you are not an Odyssean yet, please register for an account at www.singapore2010.sg/o.	2) Invite your friends to sign up for Singapore 2010 Odyssey! All they need to do is to put in O2C[your username], in the promo code box (see image below) when registering for an account. For example, Alex was referred by Jane. The promo code for Alex to enter will be O2CJane.

Prize Collection Procedures:

• All winners will be notified via email within three days of result confirmation.
• Instructions for prize-collection will be included in the email.
• Participants must collect their prizes within 30 days of the email notification.
• All unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
• Winners forfeited their rights to claim the prizes when the prizes are not collected during the stated collection period.
• All winners must print the notification email as documentary proof and bring it along during prize collection.
• Participants who fail to produce the required documentary proof will not be allowed to collect the prizes.

Terms and Conditions:

• This contest is only open to users of Singapore 2010 Odyssey. Any person(s) assisting or involved in this promotion and the Singapore 2010 Odyssey project team is not eligible to participate.
• Player(s) who does (do) not meet the minimum requirements will be disqualified.
• Player(s) must have valid email addresses to be eligible for prizes.
• All winners will be notified by email and the results will be published on the Singapore 2010 Odyssey website and Facebook page.
• The Organizer reserves the right to disclose and publish the names and any other particulars of the Winners (including photographs) for publicity purposes. By participating in the contest, the Winners agree to co-operate with and participate in such publicity activities without any payment or compensation.
• The Organizer shall have the sole discretion to determine whether any participant should be disqualified by reason of failure to abide by these terms and conditions, bad faith, fraud or any other reason whatsoever.
• All decisions made by the Organizer in relation to this promotion or in the event of any dispute are final and no correspondence will be entertained.
